The big-government left has a plan for absolute power…control all three branches of government. When they next control Washington they can gut the Senate Filibuster, add new states to expand their Senate majority and then pack the Supreme Court.
With Court control they can rig election rules, impose a wealth tax, rule by regulatory decree, and impose their radical agenda.
We cannot stop the left from winning every election. To preserve limited, constitutional government, we must strengthen checks and balances on the abuse of federal power. To begin, we must take away the power of Washington politicians to manipulate the size of the Supreme Court.
Without an Amendment to ban Court packing there is big risk that, one day, Court packing will destroy the independence of the Supreme Court. Regardless of party, we should all worry that If one party were to pack the Court, the other party would retaliate and the Court would end up as the puppet of politicians in Washington. Only an independent Court can protect our Constitutional rights, and the integrity of our elections.
The proposed “Keep Nine” Amendment to ban Court packing would take away the power of Congress to manipulate size of the Supreme Court. It simply says: “The Supreme Court of the United States shall be composed of nine Justices.”. Polling show that voters would support it by a 3-1 margin. A majority of Democrats would support it.
The “Keep Nine” Amendment was first introduced in Congress by a Democrat in 2020 and is now backed by more than 200 Members of Congress and a bipartisan group of more than 1000 elected officials nationwide.
Constitutional Amendments are difficult to enact, but the success of popular Amendments like those that guaranteed a woman’s right to vote and imposed presidential term limits show they are possible.
We must make the “Keep Nine Amendment widely known, so candidates in both parties will be compelled to support it.h. There are Democrats in competitive elections, who claim to oppose Court packing today, but won’t tell voters where they stand on an Amendment that would ban Court packing in the future. We must demand that candidates tell voters where they stand on the Keep Nine Amendment and then educate voters about the differences.
But we need your help. First, you can calll the office of a candidate and ask where they stand on the “Keep Nine” Amendment. Second, you can spread the word about the Keep Nine Amendment by email and in social media. And third, you can ask your friends to these same things.
We also need volunteers to attend political meetings and to serve as surrogate speakers. We need help building our social media and grassroots volunteer network. And you may have a special skill, talent or contact that would help.

No matter what issue you care about most, protecting our Constitutional rights from the abuse of government power, requires an independent U.S. Supreme Court.
There are millions of people focused on who will hold power in Washington. But there are too few focused on how to take power away from Washington and return it to the people.
